Three virtuosos perform solo works by major contemporary composers, including a major new piano work inspired by the great paintings of American artist Cy Twombly. Winner of Australia’s prestigious Paul Lowin Award, Liza Lim has been commissioned by such ensembles as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and BBC Symphony. The brilliant Avery Fisher prize-winning violinist Jennifer Koh, nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award, and acclaimed Moores School of Music saxophonist Valerie Vidal make their Da Camera debuts.
